About Ellie
Ellie Warren聽is a curator and art historian. She is also a PhD candidate in the Art History department at the sa国际传媒. Alongside her PhD studies, Ellie is a doctoral teaching assistant on Plymouth鈥檚 undergraduate Art History programme. Her postgraduate thesis explores the image of Cornwall at the Royal Academy 1885-1939, with a focus on the Newlyn School. Ellie鈥檚 academic work draws from her interests in curating Victorian art and how this differs between regional and metropolitan institutions. In 2019, she curated the exhibition 鈥淢oving Image: Bringing Newlyn School to Life鈥 at Penlee House Gallery & Museum. Ellie has delivered several talks at The Box, Plymouth on Newlyn School works in their collection and currently works at Tate St Ives.
