Bryony is a Research Culture Officer within Research, Partnerships and Innovation at the sa国际传媒, where she supports the development and delivery of the University鈥檚 research culture agenda. Working across faculties and professional services, she contributes to initiatives that promote inclusive, collaborative, and supportive research environments, with a particular focus on researcher development, equality, diversity and inclusion, open research, responsible innovation, and research impact.
Bryony works closely with academic and professional service colleagues to coordinate and implement a broad portfolio of research culture activities aligned to institutional priorities and the Research Excellence Framework (REF). Her role includes supporting the development of strategy and action plans, organising workshops and engagement events, convening working groups, contributing to policy development, and establishing systems and processes to monitor, evaluate, and evidence the impact of research culture initiatives across the University.
Alongside leading and supporting development programmes for researchers at different career stages, Bryony is responsible for maintaining effective stakeholder engagement and supporting funding and recognition opportunities linked to research culture. She has a strong background in project coordination, administration, governance, communications, and partnership working, and is particularly interested in collaborative approaches that create positive and lasting institutional change.
Bryony has worked in the higher education sector since 2012, both in the UK and the USA. As a member of ARMA (Association of Research Managers and Administrators) Bryony is passionate about supporting research excellence at the sa国际传媒.
