We are here to support you while you study if you are disabled. Tell us if you identify as a disabled student or believe you may be
Disabilities can include, but are not limited to, the following: 
  • neurodivergence
  • specific learning difficulty or differences
    for example, dyslexia, dyspraxia etc.
  • ADHD
  • autism
  • mental health conditions, for example, anxiety, depression, bipolar, etc.
  • sensory or physical impairments
  • long-term health conditions
    for example, chronic fatigue syndrome, asthma, diabetes, cancer, HIV, etc.

Support we provide

  • advice, information and guidance for prospective and current students, including international students
  • appointments with advisors 
  • advice on getting a diagnosis
  • guidance on disclosure and providing supporting documentation
    • This information can be used to create a Student Support Document (SSD), which is shared with University staff who need to know
  • advice and guidance on support available through the sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ and Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).
  • reasonable adjustments around teaching, learning, and assessment, including exam provisions, and more.
